Issued by the National Weather Service at 9:37 PM CDT on March 17, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Winfield ld25
* until further notice.
* At 9:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 29.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will fall to near 29.0 feet Friday morning.
* Impact... at 29.0 feet... Route 96 at Mozier Landing closes
* impact... at 28.5 feet... portions of County highways b and c in
northern St. Charles County are flooded.
* Impact... at 26.0 feet... flood stage. Minor damages begin.
